We are developing an application using SQL R2 Server. I need to show to a regulatory agency that SQL R2 was developed using a quality approach (or something to that effect). Any suggestions as to how I could obtain such documentation? Thank You.
Do you mean SQL 2008 R2? Or something else?

Why not a newer version then? 2008 R2 is pretty old. I'd recommend SQL Server 2014.
