Hello, Is it possible to have replication (say snapshot or transaction) while running Log Shipping?
Currently we have a DR using log shipping. We have been using the secondary server to report data differences by turning off log shipping until the process is complete. We do a lot of data manipulation during the day and the process to report the differences is taking longer and longer before we can turn log shipping back on. (transactions are copied but the restore is disabled)
I was wondering if it was possible to take a snapshot or some other way of getting the data to a neutral server. This is a one way copy, as no data is ever returned.
