Update SSMS

Hi All.
Couple years ago I installed SSMS 15.0.18206. Does it make sense to update it to 15.0.18390. If yes. Do I need to uninstall old version before install new one? Or just to run installation file to install over?

I would say it depends. Are you currently having issues with the one you are using. Check to see what has changed (probably a bug fix or 2) and see if they apply. Where I am, we can't just patch out machines ourselves, there's a big process, so if it's not needed, I generally ignore it

I believe you don't need to uninstall. SInce it's the same major version, it will update the existing install
