SQL Setup

Hi.

I am currently using MS Access to do alot of my data checks.
The files that I am using are now getting to to large for MS Access to be able to link or import.

What I was needing assistance with is how do i setup SQL connection so it reads the files from my desktop so I can then create a link from MS Access to the SQL to read the files so I can continue to run my queries?

Thanks

The easy and simple way to setup an SQL Connection are mentioned in my steps.

  1. Start Enterprise Developer as an administrator. ...
  2. From Eclipse, click Run > Tools > HCO for SQL Server.
  3. From the HCO for SQL Server interface, click Manage Connections.
  4. Select the User Connection Type.
  5. From the Connection List tab, click New SQL Server Connection. ...
  6. In the Data Source Name field, type HCODemo .

These steps will help you to fulfil the commands and requirements you are looking for.
