SQL Server 2008 Authentication Type

Hi,

I recently downloaded the SQL Server 2008 (SSMS) Express Edition.

The default Login Authentication Type I get is Windows Authentication, however I'd like it to be SQL Server Authentication.

Can anyone guide me with the same?

I tried creating the Login, but even though it seems created, I does not accept those credentials.
