For some reason SQL Management Studio takes 15 to 20 minutes to establish a connection to the server. The issue just started happening this week and is only affecting 4 computer running windows 8.1. The stranger part is when I run the Management studio as an admin is connects right away. I have done this setup many times and everything was fine. I'm not quite sure what change. I tried uninstalling the application to see if the issue goes away but it din't help. Any help will be appreciate it. Thanks
I'd recommend installing the latest service pack and hotfix for SQL Server on the client machines. The updates are not only for the database servers but also for the client machines running SSMS, etc.
