SQL Developer Database Tips

Hello everyone,

Apologies if this is not the right place to ask this question.
I have decided to make my career as a SQL Developer, but I am unaware of the typical tasks and database platforms that are necessary to be a SQL Developer.
I want to know that as an Entry Level Programmer how should I keep myself prepared with the changes and challenges.
Looking for some relevant suggestions.

Thank you

Try to get good grip in writing queries, understand the basics of normalization.
once you have a good understanding on queries you can choose to be on reporting or ETL side.
Both have a very good market.
