Size My Log file Autogrowth from 8Gb to 250Gb

Hi DBA!
Normal,one day size my log file is 8Gb
I set Job Shrink Log everyday at 11h00PM.
Today, User report load data slow.
So, I check peformance SQL Server and I see Process Task: Waiting Resource: LOG_MANAGER appear very much, Task State: SUSPENDED, Waitting Task: 250.
This time, I check size File Log autogrowth 250Gb.
Reason, Why File Log autogrowth from 8Gb to 250Gb?
Please help me
