Server Name Deletion

From the Drop down box on CONNECT TO SERVER I deleted the Server\InstanceName but they were still APPEARING on the SERVER NAME.

Can anyone let me know as to how this can be deleted thoser obsolete SERVER\INSTANCENAME(s).
