I have a system user account on a database that is sysadmin and will return results for all the views
I am now setting up a new login that can only select from one view. I have created the login and a user on the database and also added the user to a new role also on that database that allows select only.
When i go to select from the view it does not advise any errors but simply returns no results. If i select other tables then I get an permission error so i think I have select but it just does not return the data from the table.
