Need guidance for the below scenario,
We are going to upgrade our SQL server. The server is already setup with transactional replication. And the replicated DB is used for reporting purpose only.
We want to create replication setup newly after upgrading the server from 2012 to 2022.
Now, how to proceed with disposing the existing setup or stop existing setup? Will there be any repercussions? Or any malfunction during upgrading if done so?
What steps should be taken care?
