Multiple backups

Dear Experts,
backup admin takes backup of the databases using netbackup as per the below schedule
Daily full backup
every 15 min log backup

I would like to have my own native backups taken through maintenance plans with similar schedule.
Anyhow I would take only copy_only full backups.

will performing such multiple backups break the log sequence and cause problem when performing restores?

Copy-only backups will preserve the log chain and not interfere with the other backups. Recommend that you stagger your copy-only backup schedule so it does not overlap with the other backups.
