Log Shipping table msdb.dbo.log_shipping_monitor_secondary not updating

Hi,
I have setup log shipping and all the jobs backup,copy and restore jobs are running fine without any issues.
But the Alert job on primary server keeps on triggering alert with the below error:
The log shipping secondary database has restore threshold of 45 minutes and is out of sync. No restore was performed for 692516 minutes. Restored latency is 0 minutes. Check agent log and logshipping monitor information. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 14421). The step failed.

Longshot: Clock has the wrong time? Did you change daylight-saving-time this weekend?

Nope,didn't do any time change.Both the primary and secondary have correct time.

found something interesting,i queried the primary server and found that the value in last_restored_date is 2014-12-03 14:48:08.050

select * from msdb.dbo.log_shipping_monitor_secondary

any ideas?whats happening here

Could you have a corrupt transaction log backup?
