Local SQL Server Express connection failed

Hello all,

I am just wondering if anyone come across of the connection failure issue using SQL Server Express 2012 from your local PC or laptop using windows 10 Home edition and know how to fix this.

I found a way to fix this issue.

Basically, go to:

  1. Control Panel
  2. Administrative Tools
  3. Services
  4. Click to open SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) and (SQLSERVER) then click Start to change the status from either "Paused" or "Stop" to "Running"

That should fix the issue.
