We do have requirement to install SQL Server 2014 Development Edition with only Standard Edition features only.
Our Test environment is - Developer Edition
Our Prod environment is - Standard Edition.
So is it possible to install only Standard Edition features with Development edition software.
Please advise

yes and no. You don't have to set up features like Always ON, but you can't prevent users from Advanced Adapters used in SSIS for example or partitioning or in-memory OLTP or TDE or advanced Data Mining or Power Pivot for Excel 2010, etc.
Also be aware that every user accessing the development system must have a developers license - whether through SSMS/SSIS/SSAS or through the developed application.
