I have started re-searching into Hadoop as it seems to be shown on job searches these days. Does this mean Hadoop may take over sql server?

no. Microsoft has embraced Hadoop and you can reach into Hadoop from SQL (in 2016)

1- so as well as getting better in sql server and sql programming it is good to learn Hadoop?
2- where to start learning hadoop? is it to learn NoSQL or just it's a matter of typing Hadoop in youtube, etc.?
