ok, for someone less educated, can you expand on why this is a bad idea ?

so if someone on the www sees how you do passwords, they can find out who Pete_N is and track back to find out what web site this is related to then hack you. because you just showed us how your website generates passwords.

I understand.

Although this is only part of the generation and this part is on an internal SQL server for use on our internal website, I thank you for you concern. I will post the mod to delete this thread
