I am using SQL Server SSDT 2016 Version Created a Data Flow Task, added an Excel Source into the task and configured to point to the Excel spreadsheet source. Then adding OLE Destination and joined the source to the destination.while trying the execute the task it fails with the following error:
Could not retrieve the table information for the connection manager. Failed to connect to the source using the connection manager
I have checked with Project >> Properties >> Configuration Properties >> Debugging and changed Run64BitRuntime to False
NOTE: ( I have succeeded in SQL Server 2012 version SSDT but not in 2016 Version).
Here I have been struck as it still unable to execute the task.
Could anyone help in this regard. Thanks
I have researched from Web and drawback is to install separate drivers for 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components: eclassess and msbistudent.
However, I have found the solution and still might be useful to those who still bother in looking this post till now 20+ friends and thanks to you all.
