Two points:

I get an Email from "Graz". Might be woth changing that to be from "SQL Team" or somesuch?

The email has my whole post and also the whole post of the reply. But I don;t get any further emails when there are more replies. So a user may think that is the only answer (or a suitable answer, even if more subsequent answers) and not return to the site.

Personally I'd prefer not to get my email inbox filled with lengthy messages.

Further thought:

I've just changed a reply significantly after posting it because I realised what I proposed wouldn't work. If the O/P just reads the EMail notification, with my original answer, it isn't going to work ... bit worrying if my advice was to drop all tables and all databases!
