Since getting a new computer I have had problems running reports previous create in Crystal XI and now being converted to SSRS. The error I am getting is, "Connection failed: SQL State: '08001' SQL Server Error: 53 [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0} Named Pipes Provider: Could not open a connection to SQL Server [52]. My network team says the problem isn't on their end--any suggestions? Thanks.
It looks like you're connecting on named pipes. Usually that isn't enabled. Use TCPIP
