How can i extrat color histograms, form and texture form a image store in a data base column ?

My intention is to extrat texture, form and color from a image in a data base not just extract the image, as far as i know SSIS does not help with that. Is there other tool that i can use ?

I would like to extrat color, form and texture from a picture.As far as i know when a image is add to a data base the image it self is store elsewhere, in this case the table stores a pointer of text data type to a special file (that contain the image). Given that the table stores the pointer (i assume, i not sure) how can i extract features like color, form and texture from a picture ?
