Is there an alternative to using SSMA to convert an MS Access database to SQL Server?
I tried installing SSMA but it didn't want to know as I have a mix of 32-bit and 64-bit elements.
Access 2010 used to have a 'SQL' option under the 'Move Data' ribbon, but it's not there on Access 365. I don't know if it worked as I never used it.
Thanks.
Never did it myself.
Have you read https://support.office.com/en-us/article/migrate-an-access-database-to-sql-server-7bac0438-498a-4f53-b17b-cc22fc42c979?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US ?
Maybe you can transfer your database to a laptop that is 32-bit or 64-bit only?
Or use a 32-bit or 64-bit only laptop to start from if the file with the database is located on a server.
