Is it possible to trace the all transaction log of a record.
We would like to audit our Inventory, an item, when material entered the inventory and when it was issued and by whom and to whom.
you could use CDC or triggers to do that. The transaction log does not persist. In SIMPLE Recovery mode, it is overwritten for each new transaction, in FULL recovery mode, it would be cleared at backup time.
