Hi
Currently have SQL 2016 installed on a Windows 10 machine.
Through deploying an Analysis Service project I have noticed that the SQL Server Browser service is not starting.
Through research I have tried running through command prompt, in which I receive the following error:
C:>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Shared\sqlbrowser.exe" -c
SQLBrowser: starting up in console mode
SQLBrowser: starting up SSRP redirection service
SQLBrowser is successfully listening on ::[1434]
SQLBrowser is successfully listening on 0.0.0.0[1434]
SQLBrowser: failed starting SSRP redirection services -- shutting down.
SQLBrowser: starting up OLAP redirection service
SQLBrowser: Stopping the OLAP redirector
From this it looks as if there is an issue with SSRP.
Can anyone point me to fix to solve this?
